A new look
Hi everyone. Thanks for barring with me while i get the site up. So, a quick break down of the site. The goal of the site is to quickly guide you through any questions you might have about the book as well as a portal to help you find additional ZF resources online.
The Message Board section contains a break down of each chapter where you can find other readers asking and answering questions as well as find me posting new updates to the book.
The ZF Articles section will contain additional articles/chapter updates etc for the book.
The Download section contains the source code for the Loudbite application.
Finally, the News and Updates will contains Zend Framework news as well as messages by me on what has been updated on the site.
If you have any question please contact me directly I will try my best to answer your email or point you in the right direction.

So, you’re saying wordpress is a better blogging platform than building a blogging app from the Zend Framework?
Just kidding. Love the book. I’m on pg 100 and had some questions, so I was hoping to look at your source code. But I suppose my questions will eventually be answered somewhere in the book.

What has happened to the site http://www.loudbite.com which is featured in the book?

I never placed it up, thats my fault. I wanted to clean it up in terms of look and feel to give the reader a chance to see what a clean site could look like but that never materialized. Will place up shortly.

Hello!
I’m a PHP, MySQL and Apache neophyte! Running on a WAMP.
I just got the book and am on chapter 3.
I found the Apache server to be a bit ‘picky’. When told to “restart the server”, I find I have to “restart the machine” before things start working as expected. But I AM making progress.
“Simple” is not a description I’d use for ZF! There’s lot to learn! But I am having fun learning it!
I find it much more helpful than some of the other documentation on the web.
Has anyone had experience with Eclipse (Galileo), the CE version? Got any reactions, impressions you’d like to share?

On page 114 you add the models directory to the include_path. It shows it now on page 141 when I run account/update, but it errors out saying it cannot include Elements.php. I’ve checked the path 100 times. Any Ideas?

Hi Zach,
I just went over Chapter 4 and tried to reproduce your issue without success. can i see your public/index.php file as well as the file calling models/Form/Elements.php?
